Sustainable Steps
Part of the wider SANIPEX GROUP and operating from the same central headquarters, we take a unified approach to sustainability, both in how we work and how we deliver our products. Across our offices, showrooms, and warehouses, we have adopted many waste-minimising practices that follow the waste management hierarchy. This means prioritising the prevention of waste at the source, followed by reusing materials, then recycling, and finally, disposal.
For instance, we have replaced water bottle dispensers with kitchen filter taps, while all water used in our Slab Fabrication and testing facilities is recycled. To minimise our paper usage, we have integrated digital systems in-house and have stationed paper recycling points across all our offices and showrooms. In addition, paperless transactions help reduce both our company’s and our customers’ carbon footprint. For any electronic waste, we rely on trusted third parties to ensure responsible disposal.
At our warehouses, 96% of our pallets are reused, and all plastic, cardboard, and metal waste is recycled. To lower emissions further, we optimise delivery routes and power our distribution trucks with B5 biodiesel.
Certified for Compliance
We always aim to minimise our environmental impact through the responsible management of our products and services. We take active measures to prevent pollution and ensure full compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory and statutory environmental requirements, including those of our interested parties in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System).
Many of our products are WEEE certified, with a recycling/recovery rate of 80%. This means that the majority of the materials in these products can be reused, recycled or recovered.
Spare Parts Availability
Quality extends far beyond the point of purchase. As part of our sustainability efforts, we guarantee spare parts availability on our kitchen appliances for up to 10 years, enabling our products to be repaired if necessary, maintained, and enjoyed for years to come. This in turn reduces waste and helps to lower environmental impact. By extending the lifecycle of our products, we also reduce material consumption and the emissions associated with manufacturing a new product.
